L&S Group was founded in Eraclea in 1994 by William Lucchetta. He saw the potential of general contracting, which was still largely unheard of in Italy at the time, and gathered the top professionals from the local area around him. After experiences in specific sectors (such as electrical systems), paradoxically the group specialized, enormously broadening its skills: in fact general contracting involves above all organizing hugely different professional skills and techniques, held together by a safe, expert hand. It could be compared to the work of a director on a film set. He coordinates all of the workers – including the actors – in order to put together a final visual experience. L&S guides its technicians, builders, plant engineers, specialized workers, etc. to create a bespoke spatial experience. Recently L&S has further expanded its service range to include entirely constructing whole buildings, dealing with everything from the planning to the final practical stages.
Over fifteen years of work, numerous jobs have been completed in Italy in the retail sector (for Diesel, Max Mara, Guess and others) and for public projects such as the Nove power station in Vittorio Veneto. Among the work done abroad, worthy of particular mention is Mascalzone Latino’s base in Valencia for the 2007 America’s Cup.
